Tracing staff searches lost cargo or mail upon written request of the customers or airlines or the instructions of the authorities. They verify appropriate waybills, positions in the warehouse, receive explanations from warehouse staff, set up communication with the airport of the shipper. If during unloading there is a shortage in the warehouse or loss of cargo, in such cases one performs necessary examinations and follow-up investigation activities.
One also conducts monitoring and investigative measures upon request of the customers in cases of claims and actions for delivery, damage or loss of cargo. If cargo is transported without proper documents, the tracing group expert communicates with cargo carrier and airport of the sender or with intermediate airport (transit) and requests documents relating thereto.
