Baggage tracing

Unfortunately, the cases of baggage loss are common during a flight. In most cases, baggage is lost during transfer, when baggage transferred from one flight to another at the airport transfer, where time is limited.

Lost Baggage Procedure

If Passenger did not receive his/her baggage after arrival to destination point, he/she should contact the Baggage Service Office (LOST & FOUND), usually located within the baggage claim area, for the registration of necessary documents, confirming the baggage loss.

At the office, the passenger is required to complete the PIR (Property Irregularity Report) which confirms that he/she hasn’t received the baggage at arrival to destination point. This document indicates passenger’s name, surname, patronymic, route, details of lost baggage (number of seats, weight, baggage tag number, distinctive features of lost baggage, passenger’s contact number, baggage delivery address etc.)

The Procedure for Finding Lost Baggage.

As a rule, the process for finding lost baggage starts after completing the PIR within 100 days.
